Looking back on my decade-long friendship with Yasmine, I realize that I’ve lived a full circle moment. Back when we were roommates at university, we had deep conversations and daydreamed about what our futures would have in store. That one day I will photograph her wedding, and now here we are!

Yasmine and Houssem’s love story is an inspiring testament to their commitment and resilience as a couple. They have overcome the challenges that come with long distance, and all the while have encouraged each other’s growth to become their best selves. And this year they were able to reunite for good in the most beautiful way possible.

They hosted their multi-day wedding celebration on the Eastern Shore in Centreville, Maryland. The historic estate is nestled within a peaceful forest that overlooks the river. It was a getaway that perfectly combined the excitement of celebrating their love, with the tranquility of disconnecting from the rest of the world and spending quality time with loved ones in nature.
